Här är vad som hände:
I just unpacked the Track R2.
I cannot get the pan funcktion to work... now i have been reading manuals and cannot find anything.
I have programmed pan for ch7 and tilt for ch 8 and also tried switching them so ch7 gets pan and 8 gets tilt... What am i doing wrong?!?
I have tried different settings in my radio (FUNC, MIX, NORMAL, OFF) for the trainer setting but it seems like the first setting i tried should work (FUNK) and it works for Tilt. All channels are enabled for the trainer. Using the servomonitor on my futaba I can see that tilt moves correctly but no movement what so ever for pan... I checked my settings in the programming menu after trying them and they reported as i programmed them. I have tried default settings out of the box and changed to a new model in the radio to see if this would work but still nothing...
I am using a Futaba 12 FG (7.2 Volt battery) and i am powering the TrackR2 from a 3s lipo since it needs minimum 8 volt. Lipo is charged, Transmitter is charged.
Now i am clueless... What have i done wrong?!?
After resetting to defaults i redefined the zeropoint and after that my Transmitter went all funny on me. I had max output on most channels in different directions and the sticks were not working at all. (Trainer setting was correct.) So i unplugged the trackR2 Made a new model from scratch on the tx then turned it off. Then i turned on the trackR2 and resetted to defaults made the setup and then connected the trackR2 to the tx. This caused the tx to start partially indicating that the trainer plug was active. Then i turned on the transmitter with the switch. Now everything was working again except the trackR2. After "Redefining the zero point" on the trackR2 it was working!!! Conclusion: Always let the setup process complete. Turn on TrackR2 before the tx if tx battery is below 8.0 volt (My 12 FG uses 7.2V NiMh). After everything is turned on rezero the TrackR2. If nothing of this works try setting up a new model and reset the TrackR2 and reconfigure trainer settings.
Now i have tested my pan/tilt and only calibration is needed...
